1-3-3 in Lubbock ISD

In our 1-3-3 in Lubbock ISD plan, employees were scheduled to receive a final $1,500 payment on this month’s paycheck. Due to the need to use the ESSER funds before they expire and in an effort to provide much-needed economic relief to our employees, the final ESSER payment will be $3,000 instead of the originally planned $1,500 on the May 2024 paycheck.
Key Details
Final ESSER payment for first-year employees: $1,000 (previously $500)
Final ESSER payment for all other employees: $3,000 (previously $1,500)
Payment date: Included in the May 2024 paycheck
One-time payment: Not an ongoing raise
Important Information
This payment is a one-time bonus due to the need to use ESSER funds before they expire, not an ongoing raise.
All eligible Lubbock ISD employees will receive the payment in their May paycheck.
