Infant Mental Health (IMH)
Our infant mental health team (IMH) helps children birth to age 3 with social and emotional development. They provide support for the parent and child by focusing on the relationship between the parent and child so that the child is able to express emotion, develop patience, learn through exploration of their world, and develop close and secure relationships with others. On top of this, our infant mental health team can also provide the same services as our early intervention specialists by helping the children with communication, motor skills, socialization, and adaptive behavior through Specialized Skill Trainings (SST) which not only helps the children learn coping skills but also assists the parents in understanding what to do to help their child succeed.
