The Lubbock ISD Online Advancement Program offers a variety of online courses for in-district and out-of-district students. The Online Advancement Program can meet different student needs. 

With the use of today's technology and the Edgenuity system, students are provided with opportunities to take online courses outside of normal classroom schedules. The Online Advancement Program offers students a quality alternative to the traditional classroom. All online courses meet TEKS standards and may be used in a variety of applications which can open up a student's class schedule to allow for advanced placement and elective courses. Providing virtual options to students enables them to enroll in a wide variety of classes and complete coursework on a schedule that works for them. Students are able to complete all coursework online, but the final exam must be proctored. A schedule of proctor availability will be regularly updated on the webpage.

Upcoming Sessions

Summer 2025

The registration window for the 2025 Summer Session opens Tuesday, April 29, 2025 and runs through Wednesday, May 21, 2025.  Late registration begins Thursday, May 22, 2025 and closes on Friday, May 30, 2025. 

The Summer Session runs from Wednesday, May 28, 2025 through Thursday, July 31, 2025. All coursework and the In-person final exam must be completed by end of term for students to earn credit.

Students are required to attend an online orientation on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 (5:30 p.m. - 6:15 p.m). Information to access this orientation will be emailed to enrolled students a few days before the meeting.
