The 2023-2024 Lubbock ISD Community Leadership Academy concluded last week, spending the final session learning about Estacado Early College High School, Dupre Academy High School, and our International Baccalaureate programs. Almost doubling the number of last year’s graduates, 39 participants completed the program.
The Community Leadership Academy, consisting of seven sessions and a graduation ceremony, convenes once a month from October through May at locations around the district. Participants interact with students and teachers, tour district facilities, visit with district administrators and staff, and see firsthand how Lubbock ISD works. Applications for the 2024-2025 cohort open in July.
