My name is Emma Arias and I am the school counselor at Bean Elementary. 

I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies and a Master’s Degree in Counselor Education from Texas Tech University. 

As a school counselor, my primary responsibility is to promote the academic, personal, and social development of all students.  I look forward to offering support to the students, staff, and families.  Throughout the school year I will be meeting with students individually and in small groups.  I will be conducting classroom lessons, meeting with parents and guardians, collaborating with teachers and staff, and consulting with community organizations to benefit and meet the needs of our students and families.
