Every year the Lubbock Professional Fire Fighters Association (LPFFA) delivers winter coats to different schools around the district.
This year, the LPFFA and volunteers visited Wolffarth ES, Bean ES, and Harwell ES. Students in each grade level are paired with a Lubbock firefighter or volunteer and go through the process of choosing the jacket they like best, making sure it fit well, and having their partnered firefighter write their name on their new winter attire. Students thanked the volunteers with big smiles, hugs, and large decorated thank you posters. Lubbock ISD thanks LPFFA and the many volunteers for making students feel loved this winter season.
