Three new and one returning trustee received their oaths of office at last week’s Board of Trustees meeting, with Nancy Sharp, John Weddige, and Mary Ann Lawson joining the board and Lala Chavez returning for another term.
In addition to welcoming new members, the board has reorganized its leadership. Beth Bridges steps in as the new president, with Ryan Curry as vice president, and Jason Ratliff as secretary.
We also extend our deepest gratitude to outgoing trustees Zach Brady, Bill Stubblefield, and Kristopher Zepeda for their dedicated service and commitment to our schools. Their contributions have been invaluable in shaping the educational landscape of Lubbock ISD.
