Panther Nation, I am very excited to return home to Dunbar CPA. I started my educational career in Lubbock ISD in 2009 as a high school teacher and coach. I had the opportunity to teach for six years before being hired as an assistant principal at OL Slaton Middle School in 2015. After a year at OL Slaton, I was transferred to Dunbar and appreciated everything that Panther Nation had to offer.  In 2020 I began pursuing a different calling and took a position as the Secondary Director of Human Resources for Lubbock ISD. And while I learned a great deal in this position, over time I realized that the roles and responsibilities did not align with my "Why," which is to help every student reach their full potential no matter their circumstances. Thus, when the opportunity arose to assume this position, I was more than excited to return to Panther Nation.  I am looking forward to doing the work necessary to make Dunbar CPA one of the best middle schools in the state of Texas.
