Our Honey Bears have really shown their love for making sure the earth is free of plastic waste! We are proud to announce we collected a grand total of 35,046 plastic bags that HEB will take and recycle into their reusable bags. We thank all of our students and their families who participated in the Earth Day Plastic Bag Challenge! So many classrooms worked hard and our top three are: Third Place: Mrs. Morales' second grade classroom with 4,363 bags. Second Place: Mrs. Jackson's second grade classroom with 5,463 bags. First Place: Mrs. Cockrell's PreK classroom with 7,049 bags.
