District Compensation Plan

Lubbock ISD is providing a series of significant compensation increases for its staff effective in the 2024-2025 school year, reflecting the district's commitment to supporting its employees in the face of rising costs and inflation.

The 2024-2025 compensation plan was approved by the Lubbock ISD Board of Trustees on May 24, 2024. This plan includes:

  • A 2% average salary increase for teachers, librarians, nurses, counselors, diagnosticians, and LSSPs, with a starting teacher salary of $48,000 annually.

  • A 2% increase based on the midpoint of their pay grades for administrative professionals (including accountants, coordinators, physical therapists, assistant principals, directors, etc.).

  • A 6% increase based on the midpoint of their pay grades for administrative operations and instructional support personnel (including educational aides, clerks, secretaries, police officers, library clerks, deaf education interpreters, physical therapy assistants, etc.).
