The Office of Innovation pursues most major external funding projects for Lubbock ISD. This includes competitive grants from local, state, and federal entities as well as research grants through philanthropic organizations and research-based institutions. In addition, Lubbock ISD has established the Lubbock Education Policy Initiative (LEPI) with the Center for Innovative Research, Change, Leadership, and Education (CIRCLE) in the College of Education at Texas Tech University. This Research Practice Partnership (RPP) collaboratively pursues topics that provide meaningful information to district leaders for administrative and policy decision-making. Through externally funded projects, LEPI, and other efforts, the Office of Innovation has secured millions of dollars in funding to develop and implement bold actions across the district to help our students, teachers, and district leaders make progress towards our Northstar goal.
Lubbock ISD welcomes partners and collaborators who are interested in working with our district's teachers, students, staff, and stakeholders. Please follow the guidance below to explore how your project can help Lubbock ISD meet its goals.
