If you haven't already, now is the time to register your Pre-K or Kindergarten student(s) for school!

Tomorrow our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will take the Reading STAAR assessment. They have worked so hard for this day and we know they are going to accomplish all of their goals! Please ensure that your student gets lots of rest and arrives to school on time (or even early) so that they can do their best.

We love experiencing special moments with our students. Viewing the solar eclipse together as a Plainsmen family was definitely a core memory!

If you haven't heard, there is a solar eclipse today. We encourage all of our Plainsmen families to practice safe viewing of the eclipse!

At Wheelock, We Lead! The 4th/5th grade Wheelock Ladies basketball team are looked up to at our school. Today they demonstrated their leadership by picking up trash during dismissal. Thank you for improving our campus and good luck on a great season!

Tomorrow is Snack Shack day! All items are $1 and all students are welcome to participate.

Knowing what to do in case of an emergency is crucial to keeping yourself and your family safe. We will be practicing our evacuation drill tomorrow to ensure all students know how to stay safe at school in the event of a fire.

Thank you so much to the students from the Superintendent's Student Advisory Council for taking time to read to our Plainsmen this morning. Having older students on campus is always such a treat for our students!

Registration opens tomorrow for Pre-K and Kindergarten. We will be available to help you register your student(s) tomorrow from 8-9a and 5:30-6:30p.

Reminder: We will host our Pre-K registration kickoff THIS THURSDAY from 8-9a and 5:30-6:30p. During this time, our staff can help you enroll and answer any questions you may have. We can't wait to meet your little Plainsmen!
