Evans is proud to offer Project Lead The Way (PLTW). This course engages students’ natural curiosity through activities, projects, and concepts designed to teach them about the STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

It is a fast-paced, rigorous journey through aerospace, energy and the environment, green architecture, 3D modeling, robotics, and automation, as well as the science of technology. Students explore each topic and utilize industry-standard technology and software programs like Autodesk’s Revit and Inventor. Students also create real products using cutting edge technology like 3D printers and a laser engraver.

Gateway prepares students to continue their studies in high school with additional classes in the PLTW system offered exclusively at Monterey High School.
