This week, students from Bean Elementary School learned about prosthetic limbs and braces from Dr. Phillips at Lubbock Artificial Limb and Brace Ltd.! Dr. Phillips taught our students about how patients are fitted for prosthetics and how artificial limbs are created. Thank you for allowing our students to learn more about this practice! #WeAreLubbockISD

We had an exciting morning filled with several new hires! Stepping into a new role at Central Office, Dr. Cicely Alexander has been named the Executive Director of Counseling and College Career Readiness after leading the Lubbock Partnership Network. Additionally, Mrs. Jamie Martinez has been named the Director of Special Services for Specialized Instruction. We're excited to see all of the great work to come from their leadership! #WeAreLubbockISD

After serving as an assistant principal for several years, Mrs. Tina Wiley-Williams has been named the new principal of Ervin Elementary School! We can't wait to see all of the great things she'll do for the Comets! #WeAreLubbockISD

Returning to Dunbar College Preparatory Academy, Mr. William Smith will take the helm for the Panthers as principal! We're excited to see what's to come under his leadership! #WeAreLubbockISD

After several years as an assistant principal at Cavazos Middle School, Ms. Nikki Beaty has been named the new principal at Mackenzie Middle School! We know she will do great things for the Mackenzie Raider family! #WeAreLubbockISD

Mrs. Josie Cedillo has been named the new principal of O.L. Slaton Middle school after serving as the associate principal at Lubbock High School! We can't wait to see continued success from the Knights under her leadership! #WeAreLubbockISD

After serving as the interim principal at Talkington School for Young Women Leaders, Dr. Tiffany Longoria was named principal for the Lady Warriors. We know she will continue all of the excellent things happening at Talkington! #WeAreLubbockISD

After serving the students and families of Hodges Elementary School for the last 11 years, Mrs. Alice Jimenez will step into a new role as principal at Bean Elementary School. We know that she will do fantastic things for the Bronco community! #WeAreLubbockISD
