Through our Ready, Set, Teach program, you will learn teaching and coaching strategies to prepare you to work in the schools.

Year 1 - Principles of Education, Coaching, and Counseling and Instructional Practices in Education - In this class you will learn fundamental skills such as lesson planning, effective teaching, and coaching strategies. You will participate in hands-on projects, classroom/field observations, and peer collaboration.

Year 2 - Practicum in Education I - In this class you will have the opportunity to work directly with a teacher or coach on an assigned campus. You will visit that campus four days per week. Your assignment will be based on your interest and future plans (PK - high school). You will also be expected to earn your Educational Aide I Certification (which will be great for your resume!)

Year 3 - Practicum in Education II - In this class you will have the opportunity to work directly with a teacher or coach on an assigned campus. You will visit that campus four days per week.
