Families & Students
I was born and raised in Lubbock. I am a product of Lubbock ISD, having attended Jackson Elementary, Matthews 7th Grade Campus, Evans Middle School, and Lubbock High School. I am married, and we have two children. I received my bachelor's and master's degrees from Lubbock Christian University and a doctorate in educational leadership from Texas Tech University. I am entering my 28th year at Lubbock ISD.
My favorite quote is "Shoot for the moon because even if you miss, you still land among the stars".
I am blessed to serve as the Assistant Principal of Carmona-Harrison Elementary. I am proud to work alongside amazing teachers, wonderful students, and devoted parents in this community. I earned my Bachelor's degree in my hometown from Angelo State University and my Master's degree from Grand Canyon University. My educational background includes teaching in the classroom for seven years and then as an instructional coach for 10 years. My husband, two daughters, and son love spending time outside, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends. I am looking forward to an excellent year and watching our Vaqueros grow STRONGER every day! I look forward to hearing from you. Please come by, call, or email and let me know how I can assist you.
