Blood Drive

Hospitals throughout the U.S. face a critical  blood shortage. Unfortunately, blood can't be manufactured; only volunteer donors like you can resupply this precious natural resource. Coronado High School is helping to meet these on-going needs for blood in our community by hosting a blood drive  on:

Thursday,  November 21st

 and Friday, November 22nd

 from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm in the Library


One donation can save up to THREE lives!
 
Schedule your appointment by contacting Ms.Campbell in the Library.

Important :

  • Bring an ID (state or school issued)

  • Donors must feel well and healthy on the day of the 

    donation

    .

  • Eat a hearty meal and drink plenty of water.

  • All donors 16 years of age must have a signed parental consent form

  • All donors must meet height/weight requirements.

Height/Weight Restrictions for Donors Age 16-22 Eligibility is Based on Estimated Total Blood Volume

Males between 16 and 22: You must be at least 5' tall and weigh at least 110 pounds.

Females between 16 and 22: If you weigh at least 110 pounds but are shorter than 5'6", please see the minimum weight required by height below:
