I am honored to be serving you as the Principal. I have been in Lubbock ISD for over 5 years. I taught 6th and 7th grade Reading and Language Arts at Cavazos Middle School and 7th and 8th Grade Social Studies at O.L. Slaton. I also completed the Texas Tech Principal Fellows program as a Principal Intern at Hardwick Elementary. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Multidisciplinary Studies and a Masters in Educational Leadership.

As a mother of two, I understand the importance of family, community and relationship building, and I strive to uphold these values as I support each one of your students at Maedgen Elementary.

As I start my 20th year in education, ten of those in administration, I know that I am blessed by what I get to do each and every day! The last three years have been the highlight of my career as I've had the privilege of serving as the Assistant Principal of Maedgen. The teachers, students, families, and community who I get to serve alongside are the best! I look forward to another great year with more memories to make!
