My name is Lacy Simon and I am the school counselor here at Miller Elementary School. I attended Texas Tech University where I received my degree in Agriculture Education, and then Wayland University where I received my Masters Degree in Counseling. I am beginning my 18th year in education and 11th year as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Twelve of those years were spent at Roosevelt ISD where I was a teacher, counselor and ELAR instructional coach. This is my 5th year in LISD. I love being a school counselor and everyday I feel thankful to have the opportunity to work with you and your children.  Please contact me with any questions or concerns! 

Since I was born and raised here in Lubbock, my heart bleeds red and black. You may see me cheering on the Red Raiders at sporting events or attending stock shows with my family. My fiance, Michael, our three kiddos and I love to spend time outdoors boating, swimming, fishing and hunting. I enjoy cooking delicious food, snacking on sour candy and drinking a cup of coffee on the patio.
