E-Books
Our library has a growing print collection, but did you know we also have a growing electronic collection? It's true! We have over 300 e-books available to students! To view our e-book collection, click here.
Overdrive:
Overdrive contains most of our electronic books. It is a free app for a phone or tablet, but it is also accessible on a desktop or laptop computer. Click here to visit our site.
Once you are in the site, login with your 100# and the password you use to login to a school computer.
Search the collection and have fun!
You may check out 3 books at time for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, access will disappear whether you download the e-book or simply read it in your browser.
Overdrive is very user-friendly, but see Mrs. Kline or Mrs. Frisbie if you need help.
Click the attachment below to download instructions on how to get the app for your phone or tablet.
Capstone:
We recently purchased 45 e-books from Capstone.
Most of these books are geared toward science and social studies, but we do have a little something for everyone!
These e-books are simultaneous, multi-user, meaning multiple students and teachers can use them at the same time.
To access the books, check them out through the library catalog. When you search for E-BOOKS and click on the e-book you want, there will be a link that will give you access when clicked.
EPIC:
Your library has recently signed up for an account with Epic! Epic contains over 35,000 e-books and audiobooks on a wide variety of subjects for a wide variety of readers.
To visit, click here and enter our class code: ezu2249.
Epic is also available as a app for iPhone and Android. Find the app in your app store and enter the same class code mentioned above.
Other:
We also have a few e-books from Abdo and other publishers.
These e-books are listed in our library catalog.
For a full list of e-books, visit our library catalog and search E-BOOKS.
Each e-book listed will contain a link you can click to access.
