I am so excited to be the principal at Ramirez Elementary.  I started my career in the district in 1997 as a teacher at Bean Elementary.  After 15 years of teaching experience, I then moved into my first leadership role as their Assistant Principal.  I then served the district as the Bilingual/ESL Coordinator.   I earned my bachelor's degree in multidisciplinary studies and a master's degree in bilingual education from Texas Tech University.  I also hold a master's degree in educational administration from Lubbock Christian University.  

We had some extraordinary years!  Our collaborative efforts ensured a continuity in learning for our students.  I look forward to another excellent school year!

I have been with Lubbock ISD for 10 years. My career began as a Dual Language teacher at Bean Elementary. I was a Texas Tech Principal Fellow at OL Slaton and an Assistant Principal at Bean Elementary. I hold a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Language Literacy as well as a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Texas Tech University.

It is an absolute pleasure to serve Ramirez Elementary. I am looking forward to an extraordinary year!
