Did you know? Lubbock ISD’s middle school auditoriums are original to their campuses, meaning most haven’t had significant upgrades since they were built.
The 2025 bond proposal includes renovations to middle school auditoriums to improve:
✔ Lighting & sound systems for performances and events
✔ Seating & accessibility to create a better experience for students and audiences
✔ Stage & backstage areas to enhance fine arts programs
These spaces serve as hubs for student performances, assemblies, and community events, and the proposed updates would ensure they meet today’s needs.

Think of it like a home mortgage:

✔ Upgrading infrastructure like HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems

The Byron Martin ATC hosted a law enforcement expo today bringing in several organizations like the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Marines, Lubbock SWAT, Texas State Troopers, and others. Lubbock HS Senior Maddie Peña signed her letter of intent to continue her sports and academic career at Wayland Baptist University! Maddie's accolades are nothing short of impressive as she has been a 3x state qualifier, 2x finalist, 2024 Triple Crown winner, ranks 13th in the NATION, leads the girls wrestling team as captain, and has helped her team become a top ten team in the region.
