All Lubbock ISD campuses and administrative offices are operating on a regular schedule tomorrow, Tuesday, January 16. There are no delays or changes to our school schedule. Our bus drivers will arrive 15 minutes early to start and warm up the buses before they deploy for the morning. Once they begin their routes, they will pick up any children they see walking to school or a bus stop. As we head into winter weather season, you can review how we make decisions about delays/closings, how we communicate about changes to our schedule, and more info at www.LubbockISD.org/winterweather. We know it's cold out there - bundle up and stay warm!

Today we honor the incredible life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. "Everybody can be great... because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love." If you would like to volunteer your time today on the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, visit the Volunteer Center of Lubbock website to find opportunities to serve. šŸ™šŸ¼āž”ļø: https://getconnected.volunteerlubbock.org We'll see everyone back in class tomorrow! #WeAreLubbockISD #MLKDay

I have a dream MLK Martin Luther King Jr. Day
On the first day of classes, the students at the Byron Martin ATC took part in a cross-curriculum day. Different programs collaborated and presented various activities to the students to help them better understand how different skill sets can overlap in the real world. This helped all students explore new topics while broadening their understanding of their respective programs. #WeAreLubbockISD
