Expectations for Student Collaboration Hub

• During class time, the Hub is to be used for small or large group collaboration(s)

• The collaboration may be student or teacher-led  

• Teachers, staff and community members may also use the Hub for collaborative missions.

• When students are in the Hub, a teacher must be present at all times.

• Students will be allowed to gather in the Hub during their lunch break.

• Food and drink are allowed in the Hub but can not be placed on soft surfaces.

• Before exiting, be sure all the trash is picked up, and the room is cleaned and restored.

• The Hub is not for individual student work such as Edgenuity. However, if Edgenuity teachers design collaborative instruction for their students, they will be allowed to use the Hub.

• The Collaboration Hub is for temporary use. Do not leave equipment or materials after your session.  

• The Collaboration Hub is for working, NOT for socializing, lounging, laying down, napping, or any activities outside of collaborative work.

• Active monitoring is required at all times to maximize success and prevent students from deviating from expectations.
