Every year our Irons staff, students and their families are invited to dine together to honor Mr. Edwin H. Iron. Each year IMS celebrates this special day. We dedicate this day by sharing a holiday meal while the Irons Band, Choir, and Orchestra students perform. Our fabulous PTA makes the even festive by decorating the gym with holiday cheer. We celebrate especially to honor Mr. Irons for Ed Irons Day. Though Mr. Irons is no longer here to celebrate amongst us as he was when our school was first opened, we continue to carry on the tradition of excellence that his career in education established. We are grateful that many of the previous principals and members the Irons family join us on this special day.
