I am beyond thrilled to continue our mission here at Commander William C. McCool Academy! We believe McCool Academy's unique instructional model of project-based learning with a S.T.E.A.M. curricular focus is how students learn best! We believe learners are most actively invested in their learning when teaching is authentic and applied in a real-world context while engaging in meaningful projects.
As I begin my twelfth year in Lubbock ISD, I have served at Estacado High School, O.L. Slaton and Smylie Wilson Middle School in various roles.
I look forward to launching a fourth year here at Commander William C. McCool Academy! Go Astronauts!!!

I am very excited to be entering my 3rd year at Commander William C. McCool Academy! I am entering my 18th year with Lubbock ISD, where I have served as a teaching aide at Iles Elementary, teacher and coach at Cavazos Middle School and teacher at O.L. Slaton Middle School. I have had the privilege of teaching 6th, 7th and 8th grade Reading and Social Studies. Our S.T.E.A.M and project based learning offers our Astronauts the chance to engage in real world learning while experiencing authentic teaching. This level of high engagement and authenticity will help our learners be prepared for college, high-tech careers and so much more!

I am so excited to be an Astronaut and serve as an Assistant Principal at Commander William C. McCool Academy! I love how McCool Academy goes above and beyond to ensure that all learners are prepared for high-tech careers, college, and anything life brings them through an active S.T.E.A.M. curriculum.
I am entering my sixth year with Lubbock ISD, where I have taught Fine Arts and coached dance at Alderson Elementary School and Lubbock High School. I have various leadership experiences both at the campus and district levels.
I am so excited to get to know each and every stakeholder at Commander William C. McCool Academy! Please stop by and introduce yourself anytime! If you are wanting a lengthy conversation, just bring up gardening, reading, pickleball, or animals! I look forward to an amazing year! Go Astronauts!
