Hello! I am the new librarian/media specialist at McCool. I'm an El Paso native that lived in Midland, TX for the last fourteen years. I recently moved to Lubbock in hopes of finding the perfect library setting to nurture and grow.

I like to think of myself as the creative, fun, and quirky librarian that knows the weirdest, most unusual facts (ask me about the Yeti). I never outgrew my childhood hobbies: I still love anime, video games, and spooky things. One of my talents includes knowing or finding the book or movie you're looking for but don't remember the title to. Seriously, I will find it.

My goals for this year include being the best support for teachers, students, and staff. Libraries are not what they used to be. Here at McCool, we aim to make this library a meeting place for learning and collaboration. This is a safe area to express yourself, learn, and discover new ideas.
