Each year the Nancy Anderson Chapter of the National Society of DAR sponsors a Good Citizens Award for one senior student in accredited high schools. The NSDAR feels very strongly that young people who have worked hard and contributed to their school and community should be honored.
The DAR program is intended to encourage and reward the qualities of these selected students. NSDAR citizens clearly demonstrate dependability, service to their school and community, leadership, and patriotism.
