Finding the right fit college can be challenging, so these Lady Warriors have taken the time to visit! The best way to know what works for you is to visit in person. Kellie just finished visiting McMurray and Texas A&M; Lauren, Christiana, and Alex took a cross country tour this summer. Whether you go in the summer or during the school year, it is easy to schedule a tour and sometimes even sit in on classes. Some colleges have fly-in programs--sometimes with scholarships--to bring you in from out of state your junior or senior year. If you're planning a vacation over the holidays, see what local colleges you might be able to visit while you're away. Reach out to Mrs. Couch, our College Success Advisor, for help.

Lady Warriors are spreading cheer through their beautiful art! We are so proud to say that Rayne Childress-Westmoreland, an eighth grader, was selected as the 1st place winner, and her design, pictured here, will be one of the LISD holiday cards sent to families this year. Seventh graders Lila Fowler and Abby Hannon also placed in the top 10 in the district--an amazing accomplishment as there were 155 entries! We know their wonderful art teacher, Ms. Bell, is incredibly proud. #warriorsbychoice #STEAM #WeAreLubbockISD
