Cosmetology is the art and science of enhancing beauty through specialized techniques in hair, skin, and makeup care. At Lubbock High School, our cosmetology program equips students with the essential skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the beauty industry.

Although our program does not include competitions, it offers something even more valuable: the opportunity to graduate with a professional cosmetology license. By enrolling in the cosmetology program during your junior and senior years, you’ll gain hands-on experience and complete the required training hours to become licensed. Upon graduation, you’ll be ready to step directly into a career in the beauty field, whether it’s hairstyling, skincare, or makeup artistry.
