The ToK is a course unique to Lubbock High School and only available to I.B. Diploma students. This intro to philosophy course is a cornerstone of I.B., its implications reaching every discipline students are studying and its applications carrying over to both college and career.
"TOK is a course about critical thinking and inquiring into the process of knowing, rather than about learning a specific body of knowledge. It does this by encouraging students to analyze knowledge claims and explore knowledge questions. " - I.B. Organization
In other words: "How do you come to know what you claim to know?" - Mr. Timmons
