Congratulations to the Lubbock High School FFA Farm Business Management Team! They placed 6th in the Area I Texas FFA Association CDEs and Matthew Dzygun was the 8th High Individual of the contest. In addition, they were 9th Overall at the Texas Tech Davis College of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources CDEs. They will compete at the Texas FFA Association Career Development Events at Sam Houston State University next week. Congratulations
Reminder! Lubbock High will be having their annual sport physicals on Wednesday, April 17th in the West Gym starting at 8:00 am until 4:00 PM.

🎨 Unveiling of the Student Mural at the Lubbock Activity Center!
Join us on Friday, April 19th from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lubbock Activity Center for the unveiling of a beautiful mural crafted by our Art II students. Come and celebrate our students creativity!

🌟FCCLA State Competition Success! 🌟
This weekend, LHS shined at the FCCLA State competition! We were thrilled to have five competitors represent our school, making us the only high school with students placing in the top 5 in these events!

Reminder: LATE START STAAR Testing Schedule for April 16, 18 & 23, 2024
If you ARE taking the STAAR Test
- Arrive at normal time and report to your testing room 1st period
If you are NOT taking the STAAR Test
- Classes start at 12:30 PM
- Buses will run on a 4 hour delay
- April 16th: Attend periods 1-4
- April 18th: Attend periods 5-8
- April 23rd: Attend periods 1-4
- Report to the cafeteria if you arrive early
- Optional lunch at 11:55 AM
